Today is the launch of a book by artist Susan O'Malley, Advice from my 80-year old self

In this project, O'Malley asked people on Berkeley's San Pablo Avenue what advice their 80-year-old selves would give them. "I think it's easy to forget how wise we can be," she said in explanation.

Unfortunately, O'Malley won't be there to see it.  Susan O'Malley, a voice for art, dies at 38 (San Jose Mercury News)

Her art was about making connections, and that is an amazing thing.
