walking into work this morning i saw a sticker for Green Lotus Tattoos.
and I remembered what the lotus symbolises (for buddhists) : enlightenment is born out of mud and shit and crap.
there is no expectation of perfection.
and you can start your quest for enlightenment at any time
Be like a lotus. Let the beauty of your heart speak.
Be grateful to the mud, water, air and the light.
- Amrit Ray
may i live like the lotus
at ease in muddy water
