helping old habits get on their way (25 January 2016)

Rigid, the skeleton of habit alone upholds the human frame.

- Virginia Woolf, born on 25 January 1882, was a creature of habits,

I am hoping to create some new habits this year ...

according to lifehacker (what it takes to form a good habit)
  • be in a good frame of mind
  • focus on one good habit
  • work on yourself gradually
  • be accountable
  • give it time

You leave old habits behind by starting out with the thought, 'I release the need for this in my life'.

- Wayne Dyer, self-help guru

The main thing is to aim for improvement not perfection

and to keep things in perspective

When you consider things like the stars, our affairs don't seem to matter very much, do they?
- Virginia Woolf
