don't wait until everything is just right; take a leap of faith(29 February 2016)

This morning an older gent started a conversation with me outside Jolimont station.  we were both walking into the city so we had a chat.  Mostly he told me about his life and his work.  It was an impressive list of accomplishments and iconoclastic decisions.
towards the end I said,

I feel like I've been asleep at the wheel

and it had.
I felt I'd been barely using my brain or my talents or my chutzpah.

so, in this leap year,
maybe it's time to take a leap of faith

Don’t wait until everything is just right. It will never be perfect. There will always be challenges, obstacles, and less than perfect conditions. So what. Get started now. With each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger, more and more skilled, more and more self-confident, and more and more successful.

Having said that, I know that I also need to take it easy and slowly as I recover, but perhaps I need to review (again) what I want to do.
