Paul remembered playing on the rocket in a park in Deniliquin

We didn't see the Deni rocket; we visited the one in Benalla which still in its original form.
Both the Deni rocket, and the rocket in the park near Swinburne have been modified "for safety".

It was 30 feet high and was the first of 38 moon rockets found in playgrounds around Australia, including Deniliquin's Scott's Park otherwise known as 'Rocket Park' ...
The rocket had two slippery slides and holes on each level for children to climb up through and slide down. The Deni rocket was later modified to one small slide and the holes blocked off, after a child became stuck in one.
