I listened to a RN podcast today, A trip to see the Anthony Gormley sculptures in Kalgoorlie (Weekend Arts)
On a salt lake 180 km from Kalgoorlie, British artist Antony Gormley installed 51 metal figures in the landscape.
The figures are based on body scans of 131 locals (and a few tourists).
As people move across the work, they leave a tracery or drawing of connecting lines between the works across the sharp whiteness of the lake. This is a sign of the viewers' participation in the work which changes, as does the sky, throughout each interval of the year.

How wonderful it would be to tour Australia, visiting scultptures,
installations and carvings, from art commissions like these to the rock
art of the Burrup Peninsula to the Big Galah in Kimba, South Australia.
Tracing our own lines through the landscape.
